Just in time for the drag of the dark winter days and the COVID lockdown; we present to you a two-part workshop to address our mental health and well being, specific to the Waterloo-Wellington Muslim community.
Please join us and our expert panel to hear them share their expertise on many topics that have been impacting our families during these trying times.
Part One will include:
– Identifying and understanding depression and anxiety in our family members and youth
– How to initiate a discussion with the family members or friends about their symptoms
– The challenges that come along with mental health diagnosis
Part Two will include:
– Finding Resources
– Role of Therapy
– Role of Spirituality
– Prevention strategies
– Coping strategies
You will have the opportunity to anonymously ask questions that are on your mind and have them answered by professionals.
