ICW Food Bank
ICW is excited to announce 1st Halal Food Bank in the Waterloo region to provide food assistance to the people who are in need and alleviate hunger.
We aim to do this in a compassionate, respectful and non-judgmental manner.
You can get involved in this initiative by:
Donating Acceptable Food Items
- Please donate generously non-perishable items only.
- All items must be sealed, unopened and not expired.
- Following are the list of food items that you can donate.
- Rice Bag
- Pasta
- Cereal
- Flour
- Pasta Sauce
- Canned Jar
- Sugar
- Tuna Can
- Tea/Coffee
- Salt
- Beans
- Lentils/Daal
- Oil
- Evaporated Milk
- Items will be collected From Duhr to Asr or at Isha
- Drop-off Location
Donate Money
Your Zakat or Sadaqah funds can be used towards donating the food items.
For your convenience – you can donate online using this form, at ICW kiosk or the assigned red “ICW Food Bank” box.

Need Food Assistance
Next Food package pick up will be on: Saturday, Apr-20th at 1:00 pm from ICW.
You must be registered (completed the form) in April-2024 for pickup.
In case of inclement weather then pick up will be on Sunday, Apr-21st at 1:00 pm from ICW.
Submissions are only accepted 1st 7 days of the month or once 50 total requests have received, since there are logistics involved to prepare the packages and distribute it during the 3rd week of the month. Jazak'Allah!
Please note only 1 food package will be assigned/address.
