Guidelines for Zakat Distribution The submission deadline for Zakat Alfitr Assistance is Ramadan 25th. All applications will be treated confidentially. Please make sure your application has all the information requested as incomplete applications will not be processed. You are required to submit the following with the application: Your full name Address Names of all dependents that live with you Identification for yourself and all the dependents Respond to all the questions on the form. A zakat committee will review all applications to determine if the applicant is eligible for Zakat and if eligible, the amount they are eligible for. Please note that zakat will be provided in the form of a cheque or a gift card. Cash is not provided. You will be required to pick up your zakat in-person and will be required to produce the ID for yourself and each dependent listed in the application.
