I understand that this agreement affects my legal rights and the legal rights of minors. By accepting the consent below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the disclosure of risks, voluntarily accept those risks, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of this agreement. I’tikaf Rules I’tikaf sleeping arrangements will be in the Sisters’ area. Bedding and bags must be stored in the garage, accessible through the garage door. The Sisters’ area must be cleared of bedding and bags and made available for sisters 30 minutes before Isha and Tahajjud prayers. Sisters arriving more than 30 minutes before Isha and Tahajjud will be directed to the designated sisters’ waiting area. Sisters must vacate the Mussalla immediately after Taraweeh and Fajr prayers, except on the night of the 27th. Iftar will be exclusively served to the Mutakifeen in the Portable. Suhoor will only be served in the Dome. The Portable and Dome must be cleaned after Iftar and Suhoor. Food supplies, including cafeteria items and snacks, will only be accessible to designated personnel. Both toilets in the Mussalla will be available for men unless the Mussalla is occupied by sisters. One outdoor washroom will be reserved for sisters during Mutakifeen sleep time (between Isha and Tahajjud). Cleaning tools will be provided in both the Dome and Mussalla. Toilet cleaning will follow an established schedule. Mutakifeen must adhere to the Sunnah of our Prophet (peace be upon him), maintaining tranquility and humility in the mosque. The participant agrees not to engage in any activity that may void or increase the insurance premium on the premises. If additional costs arise due to non-compliance, the participant will be responsible for covering them. Tables, chairs, equipment, and other furniture must not be moved without admin permission. All activities must stop at the time of the Adhan. I will inform management if I need to leave the masjid for any emergency. I agree to abide by the instructions of the Ameer assigned by BIC Management. I will not invite unregistered individuals to stay or break fast with me due to limited space and meal allocations. I will ensure that my phone’s ringtone, alarm, notifications, and media volume remain at a level that does not disturb others in the Mussalla at any time. I will not swap spaces with anyone without prior approval from the I’tikaf manager. I will keep my space clean, tidy, and free of food or any items that produce strong odors. I understand that other programs, including Qiyam and community prayers, will be held in the Mussalla. I will remain respectful and display good adab throughout my stay at BIC. I agree to wear appropriate Islamic clothing that covers the neck and legs at all times while in I’tikaf. I understand that the $50 registration fee is non-refundable and does not cover the cost but no more payment is required. Everyone is encouraged to contribute to the cost of Iftar and Suhoor as an optional donation.
