Iʿtikāf Guidelines & Requirements 1️⃣ Sisters’ Iʿtikāf There is no overnight stay for sisters. Registered sisters may remain in the masjid from ‘Ishā’ until Fajr prayer only. No children are permitted in the sisters’ Iʿtikāf area to ensure a calm and focused environment. 2️⃣ Registration Required All participants must complete registration prior to attending. 3️⃣ Age Requirement Participants must be 18 years or older. 4️⃣ Youth Policy Children under 18 are not permitted. Youth aged 13–17 may attend only if accompanied by a parent. If an underage participant is found without a parent, the parent will be contacted immediately for pickup. 5️⃣ Emergency Contact A valid emergency contact must be provided during registration. 6️⃣ Iftar Full Iftar meals will be provided only for registered full-time muʿtakifeen. 7️⃣ Suḥūr Suḥūr will be available every night during the last 10 nights of Ramadan. 8️⃣ ID Verification A valid form of ID may be requested for verification purposes. 9️⃣ Electronic Devices The use of laptops, video cameras, and electronic games is prohibited. 🔟 Zero-Tolerance Policy The masjid maintains a zero-tolerance policy.
