ICW is excited to announce 1st Halal Food Bank in the Waterloo region to provide food assistance to the people who are in need and alleviate hunger.
We aim to do this in a compassionate, respectful and non-judgmental manner.
You can get involved in this initiative by:
Donating Acceptable Food Items
- Please donate generously non-perishable items only.
- All items must be sealed, unopened and not expired.
- Following are the list of food items that you can donate.
- Rice Bag
- Pasta
- Cereal
- Flour
- Pasta Sauce
- Canned Jar
- Sugar
- Tuna Can
- Tea/Coffee
- Salt
- Beans
- Lentils/Daal
- Oil
- Evaporated Milk
- Items will be collected From Duhr to Asr or at Isha
- Drop-off Location
Donate Money
Your Zakat or Sadaqah funds can be used towards donating the food items.
For your convenience – you can donate online using this form, at ICW kiosk or the assigned red “ICW Food Bank” box.

Need Food Assistance
Please Read: Both the registrations link for January & February 2026 are now posted below.
You must register each time to receive the food hampers from ICW.
January-2026: ICW Food Bank registration form opens on Thursday, Jan-1st at 12:00 pm.

Next Food package pick up will be on: Saturday, Jan-17th at 1:15 pm from ICW.
You must be registered (completed the form) in Jan-2026 for pickup.

Next Food package pick up will be on: Saturday, Feb-14th at 1:15 pm from ICW.
You must be registered (completed the form) in Feb-2026 for pickup.
Note: If you have not received the confirmation email, then you are not registered.

يجب التسجيل (إكمال النموذج) قبل فبراير 2026 لاستلام الطرود.
ملاحظة: إذا لم تستلم رسالة تأكيد عبر البريد الإلكتروني، فهذا يعني أن تسجيلك غير مكتمل.
Please ensure you bring your ID referencing your proof of address.
Any utility bill or driver’s license is acceptable proof of ID. Health card is not an acceptable ID.
ICW will not be able to deliver the food package. If you cannot pick up the food package during the scheduled time mentioned above, please ensure that you make alternate arrangements for pick up and let us know via the confirmation email received who will pick it up for you.
Please note only 1 food package will be assigned/address.

- Coffee
- Evaporated Milk
- Flour
- Jam
- Lentils/Daal
- Oil
- Pasta
- Pasta Sauce
