MAC announces March 11 as first day of Ramadan 1445
The Muslim Association of Canada is pleased to announce that Monday, March 11, 2024 will be the first day of Ramadan 1445 Hijri and Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, inshaAllah. MAC follows the Fiqh Council of North America which uses the European Council of Fatwa and Research (ECFR) criteria.

CMA wishes our communities across Canada a blessed month of Ramadan. We pray that this Ramadan brings ease and comfort to Muslims around the world.
