About the Villeray Community Center / Aboubakr Mosque
The Villeray Community Center / Aboubak Mosque (CCV) is located in the borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension, in the north-central part of the island of Montreal, on Jean-Talon Street near Saint Street. -Hubert and Metro Jean-Talon.
CCV serves a large and diverse Muslim community. Indeed, its location in the heart of a commercial district allows it to offer its services to professionals, merchants as well as residents of the district.
CCV offers worship and community services; many people attend the center for the five daily prayers, Friday congregational prayer, learning circles (Halakah), refresher lessons (mawaidah, dars) and spiritual meetings of the faithful (Qiyam). Ill also hosts community events and a children's weekend school.
