MAC announces April 2, the first day of the month of Ramadan 1443
Ramadan Mubarak!
The Muslim Association of Canada is pleased to announce that Saturday, April 2, 2022 will be the first day of the month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri and Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday, May 2, 2022, inshaAllah. MAC follows the Fiqh Council of North America which is based on the criteria of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR).
MAC wishes our communities across Canada a blessed month of Ramadan. We pray that this Ramadan brings ease and comfort to Muslims around the world. As we appear to be entering a new phase of pandemic recovery and with the ease of COVID-19 restrictions, we continue to work through our centers and volunteers to resume all face-to-face activities and programs in the hope to see the return of life in our mosques and centers. Our website – macnet.ca and our social media pages will contain updates on our Ramadan programming at our chapters and centers across the country. تعلن الجمعية الإسلامية الكندية ماك أن يوم السبت 2 إبريل 2022 هو اليوم الأول من شهر رمضان 1443 هجرية*رمضان مبارك *2 مايو 2022 إن شاء الله.
والجمعية الإسلامية الكندية ماك تتبع المجلس الفقهي لأمريكا الشمالية والذي يستند إلى معايير المجلس الأوروبي للبحوث والإفتاء.
وماك تتمنى للمسلمين في كندا شهر رمضان مباركًا.
ونتمنى ان يأتي رمضان هذا العام بالخير والبركات للمسلمين ف؊ جمماع ألحاا.
ونظرا لأننا على ما يبدو في مرحلة جديدة من التعافي من الجائحة ومع تيسير القيود الخاصة بالوباء Covid-19, سنواصل العمل من خلال مراكزنا ومتطوعينا لإعادة جميع البرامج الحضورية على أمل رؤية مساجدنا ومراكزنا تنبض بالحياة مرة أخرى بشكل كامل بالمصلين والمشاركين.

As we seem to be in a new phase of pandemic recovery and with the ease of the COVID-19 restrictions, we continue to work through our centers and volunteers to bring back all in-person programming hoping to see our Mosques and centers fully alive with congregants and participants.
