The fast of Ashûrâ,
This year, the day of Ashûrâ (the 10th of Muharram 1442), corresponds to the Saturday 29 August 2020.
Abu Qatada reports: The Prophet (SAWS) was asked about the fast of 'Ashûrâ'. He replied, “He erases the sins committed in the previous year. [Muslim].

صيام يوم عاشوراء | 1442 -2020 The fast of Ashûrâ
يصادف يوم عاشوراء 1442 هـ لهاته السنة 2020 يوم السبت الموافق لــ 29 أغسطس 2020.
وعنْ أَبي قَتَادةَ رضيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رسولَ اللَّهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم سُئِلَ عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ عاشُوراءِ، فَقَال: »يُكَفِّرُ السَّنَةَ المَاضِيَةَ » رواه مُسْلِمٌ.
